Here we have a big shortage of .22lr. Nowhere has any! I was considering getting a .22lr 1911 but cant get ammo so i got the .45 version.

It is way to big of a PIA to legally own one here :icon_rolleyes:

Be careful of those 1911's. They can become quite addicting.

I'd say I feel for the folks in NY, but ya'll voted for those in office who passed the law. Only one way to get rid of them.

Ik I have big hands and not many hand guns feel good in my hands but this feels just perfect. And I didn't vote for them.....

Lol why would I vote for them when I own Firearms? Lets not bring this thread to the gun law discussion any ways because its not worth it. :icon_rolleyes:

im lookin to pick up a stoeger 45 semi auto

I would also love a handgun, but Canada makes it way too hard and expensive to own one, and jail time s your penalty for packing it even it you legally own it...

Yet you can drive around with your SKS or CZ. LOL

looks good, i got a .22lr slide conversion for my 1911, they were 99$ when u bought them, whole slide barrel assembly and mag, works pretty good.

Around here you can have it loaded in a case as long as its out of reach,(for pistols) and long guns unloaded in a case out of reach. With a ccwp you can have your pistol where ever you want

First thing I'm doing with the tax return is getting my CWP. Wife will probably get hers too. Get them now while you still can. ;)

The front sights came drilled but was black, so I filled it in with some white touch up paint.

My next 1911 with be a Springfield Armory Range Officer. Just need to figure out a way to convince the boss (read "wife") that I REALLY, REALLY need another 1911, let alone another side arm, let alone another fire arm!

I got the standard "You bought another gun?" From my girlfriend shortly after I picked up this one lol

AJBert 02-10-2013 08:28 PM

BIG difference between a gf and wife, which I'm sure you'll find out in time!

chestypuller 02-12-2013 07:13 PM

Ya don't get married if your already getting told.

Blazin00LT 02-12-2013 07:35 PM

I got my CCW permit from Indiana and Utah. My glock 26 follows me everywhere I go.

NY is a commie state, y'all are being punished for some stupid **** up there. So sad what america has become lately.
