This is out my back door. I live on the NW corner of Camrose. Thats a small pond that I see kayakers playing in sometimes, and the rail tracks on the other side. Edmonton is about 80km straight ahead.

Slightly outside my back yard

I live in Graham, WA. It's just before the Cascade foothills northwest of Mount Rainier. I have an accordion student who lives in Mossyrock so every two weeks I get to drive down to his house and teach him a lesson. Along the way there's a little valley with an amazing view of Mount Rainier. Last week we had a clear day so I took a picture of it:

I get to look at this mountain every day when it's not cloudy.

I'm on the west side of Michigan near Grand Rapids, not quite as awesome of a view.

I can actually see Rainier on a clear day from my back yard, I am south of Arlington Or a little ways.

There are a couple places in Pierce County where I can see Mt. Adams on a clear day, particularly right around McChord field. I imagine you can get quite a few good Cascade views from Arlington, OR!

Where is this place of paradise you live near? Its so beautiful.

Diaita 11-05-2013 05:49 PM

Port Alberni, BC. Not all in my back yard, but within 20 mins. Very few people that aren't convinced it's paradise here.
