Default Rebuilt Walbro Carb for Robin Weedeater

My Robin weedeater carb was acting up so I purchased a Walbro rebuild kit for a WZ-16-1 carb. I installed all the diaphragms and gaskets that came with kit. Re-installed the carb on the weedeater and it started on the first pull. Runs great.

not many people will attempt a repair on yard equipment anymore
If you have to pay a shop to do it , its pretty much cheaper to pitch it in the garbage and get a new one especially if its the cheap stuff from a home improvement or wally world store

I have picked up a few prizes at the curb over the years and with a little repair it was good to go

I gave my inlaws a Honda plastic deck push mower
It cost me less than $10 to fix

Another time I picked up a brand new push mower that was only missing the air cleaner
It was the standard briggs and stratton motor so finding a replacement air cleaner was free

I recommend everyone use a little Sea Foam fuel treatment with their fuel for small engines
It really helps to deal with ethanol related issues

I like taking things apart to see what makes them work, especially if it is already broken as I got nothing to lose. More time than not I am able to figure out the problem especially if the parts are available on line if needed. Even if I can't fix it I learned how it was put together and how it functioned. Taking things apart can be easy but getting it back together correctly is a challenge in itself. By the way I got about $17.00 in the rebuild kit plus a new airfilter.
