Apple

If it's there, it's true. RIP Mr. Jobs. I don't own any of your equipment, but damn you were a brilliant man. Thank you for all you have done.

Having worked for Apple I can say that his loss will be felt for years to come. No one person has done so much for a company

Not to quibble but that's silly. Jobs simply joins the end of a distinguished list of industry lions. I can draw a line from John H Patterson of cash register fame to Watson of IBM to Steve Jobs.

And even Bill Gates figures in. In any industry or society where there's a vacuum of leadership, {eg; management by committee} someone will step in.
Jobs was the right guy.

I still maintain that had it not been for Jobs, that iPhone you may or may not be holding in your hand reading this wouldn't be as cool as it is if it weren't for him. SO many of his ideas are what shaped Apple as a company, and their products. I actually thank him because if it weren't for his iPhone (which I don't own) my Android wouldn't be as "Incredibly great" as it is.
