I clicked on DNSChanger Malware Checker - Détecteur de maliciel DNSChanger & found I wasn't affected, thankfully. But of the 650,000 machines worldwide - that's a scary thought & that they've (the virus creators) have netted over $20,000,000!

It's a scam man. Don't listen to this DNS crap. As long as you have anti-virus, anti-spyware/malware and a good sense for the internet you will be fine. By good sense for the internet, I refer to not opening a random attachment without scanning it first and not giving out personal information when a company "sends you an e-mail asking for personal information." That is the biggest scam in the book. I'm not worried at all, you shouldn't either if you have the basics to protect you.

the funny thing is everyone i know who is a computer nerd says that anti-viruses are the reason for all the viruses we have and to not run any. so i havent ran antivirus in like 3 years and havent had any problems since. before then it was like every 3 months i was getting something. i do scan with spybot and adaware like every 2 months and never get anything.

i back everything up and my computer is so old i welcome some hard drive exploding virus to blow this turd up so i can buy a new one
