okay i have NO idea where to post this but i just remembered, im having a problem with the thunderbird

it is a 1990, with a non s/c 3.8

heres my problem, i found oil in the throttle body, and intake tubing, only near the tb...................

any ideas?

PCV valve not functioning or the ports on the Throttle Body are clogged not allowing any Crankcase Ventilation.

wow that was quick, haha

i need to consult my friends dad, and see when he has time to help me check it out, cause i limited tools and im not going in blind because i have no idea what i would be doing

Just pull the PCV valve out of the valve cover, and see if you can hear it rattling when you shake it. Its a 5 dollar part and should be changed every 20,000 or so and with tune ups. There is a hose that goes from it up to the throttlebody for the vented pressure to re-enter the motor. The part is probably shaped like an "L" and is about 2 inches by one inch with a hose coming off it. It just pulls out of the valve cover.
