Usa bound for camping on May 18 weekend.

May 18th weekend I'm planning a camping with the wife over the border. Coming from about an hour and a half north of the border. Looking for secludedish green land to pop the tent trailer and enjoy the quiet. Anybody have any good areas for me to look into? I'll be coming through the falls as far as maybe just below Pennsylvania?

I would think if you want peace and quiet it would be easier to find it up north rather down here in the States. :)

The upper part of Michigan is pretty nice. Anything North of Saginaw.

I lived up north for a few years... winter 9 months out of the year... beautiful and would live there again. But I love traveling and just got my passport a couple of years ago, so any chance I get I've been crossing the border. My first trip was a horseshoe trip down to Tennessee and back. It was great, spent 7 days on the road and staying in hotels. One night we even camped on the side of a mountain.

So I made my choice and I made my travel. We are now sitting in Sheffield Pennsylvania. Camping at a little place called whispering winds campground. I must say, it' beautiful. We are in the heart of the Allegany forest. Decided to stay until Tuesday, so there' going to be alot of hiking and maybe some off roading.

So we went for a drive today. Saw a few water falls and trails... I' loving it here... nice and quiet, nothing but forest around us. Figured I'd take a pic of a trail I followed. Got plenty of videos but I might work on that when I get back home and on a computer.

Nice! It looks like a blast! I miss being able to get out and explore. Enjoy it!

Thanks Chevy, we definitely are. I love coming to visit. There's a few spots in the forest that made me think of home. We went to the Allegany reservoir and tested out the canoe we just bought in Bradford. Funniest part about it, it was made in Scarborough ontario.... where I was born! Lol. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/blazerf...0fe04ac274.jpg
