Haha...

It was actually the other way around. I've been a Chevy guy since the beginning of time. I've owned countless Chevy 4x4s, a '69 Chevelle SS, a big-block Vega, and others I can't even remember.

Then, I bought a used '99 Suburban that turned out to be the biggest piece of crap I've ever had the displeasure of owning. I bought it as a tow rig for my K5 trail rig, but it ended up being the one that came back on the hook most of the time. I finally had enough, sold it at a loss, and bought my F-250, which (knock on wood) has been fantastic. That led to the purchase of the wife's Escape, which has also been great.

I bought my Blazer specifically to build up with the drivetrain from my K5, so it was just easier to go with a Chevy. But I do like it a lot and it's kind of brought me back from the Chevy hating side, lol.

The Fiesta was purely a practical decision. I was tired of spending a fortune in gas to commute in my truck, and that was the best combination of cheap car and good gas mileage i could find (35-39mpg and under $12k brand new). I'm not planning on buying any more cars in the near future, but who knows what I would get. It would depend on my needs at the time.

I got rid of my 02 ZR2 a little over 3 years ago. I replaced it with an 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Bigger and smoother ride. I got tired of wrenching on the Blazer. But my other ride is my therapy ride...also a money pit. LOL! But no wrenching unless adding chrome.

Nice! I've always been a sportbike and dirt bike guy, but I could see maybe owning a Harley some day.

Thank you!
I've always wanted one like this, had a Sportster and a Wide Glide but it didn't fit the better half's a$$ just right for comfort so........ It's my new child support payment. LOL! I bought it new in Aug 18 and so far I've dropped over $13k in it with chrome accessories, radio upgrades and engine upgrades. It can be an expensive toy but we enjoy it.

Let's see...

1994 Chevy Blazer 4x4, mostly stock. One of the daily drivers. As I work on my own doing mechanical stuff and fixing things at customers places I use it to haul my stuff. Needs some TLC and not much used for long distance lately. The weatherstripping is coming apart, some door seals ripped. Makes a lot of wind noise now.

Then there is my SAAB 9-5 2004 station wagon. My other daily driver. Takes me to work and long distance. Fully loaded, well maintained, takes me and 4 others places when needed. Lot's of room as well to haul stuff. Picture is from my Blazer scrap yard, picking parts.

Then there is this 2 wheel thingy. As we have nice mountain roads, after years of driving LAVERDA's a MOTO GUZZI LE MANS IV, a DUCATI 900SS in 2015 went for something light and nimble. The KTM 690 DUKE R was what I got. Nice bike, some 350 pounds with gas, 70 hp goes 100 mph but hey - I'm not racing a naked bike on the road. It's fun even being a 1 cylinder, vibration levels are very low and I ride it for 8 hours if I'm in the mood for it.

Need to start up my NAS to get a picture.

And then there is this restoration project Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 from 1978...
...never ending story. Working on that one since 2015 and finally getting to the point where we can paint it. Next month the primer/filler has been drying for 3 months so we can start working on it for final paint. Will take about 2 - 3 weeks total. Some places where color has to be fixed first, then final paint application and back to the restoration place for assembly. The picture is from 2015 when I finally got the body. After that it has been at a specialists place with immersion into solvent and acid and got primed with an aircraft grade primer. Since then painted dark blue inside and underneath and putty applied where needed, then coated with primer/filler on the outside.
