Nothin, I dont like that stuff dangling in my line of sight. I have very keen and sharp vision, and something hanging from the rear is sooooooooo annoying to me. Ive also head of people getting tickets for having stuff hanging from there - Obstruction of view - or something like that. My employer also does not allow drivers to hang things from there for the same reason, I think its part of being a PIC-rated carrier. (PIC = Partners in Compliance) Its a prestigeous award given to carrier companies who can upkeep equipment to a strict standard, and it keeps the DOT off our backs too. Its a tough rating to keep.

I suppose if I could have whatever I wanted, I would have one of those hanging bird perches on there, then Cleopatra could sit on there - but she likes my left shoulder instead...

EDIT - Holy christ I cant beleive I answered this "new" thread on the third page! and I come around daily, sheesh.

Now when I used to deliever parts I never had anything in the company truck. But the one thing I have doesn't swing a lot or anything crazy so I find it ok from my mirror. I won't hang just anything up there though. And Bre my truck always smells good too. I hate riding with people that their damn car stinks. Go spend the dollar on an air freshner!

I know! right!? I like the sent tree in new car smell....but it smells mostly like my body spray I use. Just cause you have kids and a dog dont mean you have to let it stink! I feel the same way about my home.
