who knows their Cav's?

ok, so i know a few members are quite fond of the Cavalier's (Alex & Luis), but i can honestly say, i've never seen such s**ty craftsmanship on any vehicle before.

i have to do some body work on my step-father's Cavalier, and when i took a look @ it on the weekend (just to see what i'm in for), i couldn't believe that this was how the rear quarters are attached @ the rockers......

is this how they let these things leave the factory? seriously, i couldn't believe my eyes.

You mean the HUGE gap in the metal work?
Oh... I'm sure it was well within spec. LOL :icon_doh:
Good luck with the Crap-a-lier.

Hey, they have terrible crash test scores for a reason.

no likely Luis. i don't chesse anything other than seams-even on Crap-a-lier's (thanks for the tag Brent :)). re-pop rocker corners are pretty cheap.

i just couldn't believe that that was factory finish. no wonder GM was loosing customers. :icon_doh:

A friend of mine just bought one last week that came with brake issues, and I'm a little p***ed at him, because he could have bought my much better Blazer for the same amount of money!

But that's okay. I'm actually very happy for the kid that got the Blazer. He's a young guy in mechanics school, and his dad and gf came with him to check it out. I believe my truck is in good hands. :icon_razz:
