Would you fix this?
I found an 07 Isuzu i290, which is the same as the Colorado, for $600. It has front passenger side damage, including the A arm, door pillar, and power steering reservoir.
Engine runs perfectly, air is icy, goes into gear without issue. Got smacked by a Tahoe. Has just under 140,000 miles. See pics and give opinions please. I joined the Colorado forums but I can't post yet. Unless you have access to a welder and can do all of the repair work yourself, id pass or buy it and part it out to make some cash.
Im willing to bet you will have way too much money tied up in trying to fix it. With how that A-pillar is bent, it should be replaced. It would be easier to just swap the cab. You may also find some frame damage on the upper A-arm mounts when you get deeper into it. That think took a hard hit. |
Professional opinion as a bodyman:I would absolutely not buy that..That is totaled 5 times over. I wouldn't pay more than scrap value for it

Yeah I passed on it. I was afraid of that pillar. Thanks!
