Lightbulb Your Favorite Motor Oil & Filter

Hey Guys,

I have been using Mobil 1 5W-30 Truck and SUV in the winter, and Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-40 in the summer. Then I always run a Fram Tough Guard or Xtra Guard filter.
I just wanted to know what other people run either with success, or if anyone has warnings. I am especially interested in people's responses that have very high mileages (over 200K) and are still running well, but I want to hear from everyone. I am thinking about switching to something with "anti-wear" additives, but I am really not sure where to go because the choices are pretty limited in my area. Thanks in advance to everyone who posts here!

Regards,

Thomas

Sorry if this thread has been done, a quick search turned up nothing, so I abandoned the hope of finding a thread about it.

If these results are representative of the rest of blazerforum.com, I am guessing that synthetic = good, standard = not so good. Now, if only there were some way to prove one over the other...

Regards,

Thomas
