1997 Camry LE. It was just awesome being able to drive places without parentals. God I miss that feeling, it was literally a brand new world opening up for you. Not having to ride the bike everywhere or get a ride.

My first car was a 1981 forest green buick regal. It had 37,000 orig miles on it. My dad bought it from an old lady. It had cragar ss with 265/55/16 on the back and 205/55/16 on the front. In two weeks time I managed to blow up the original 3800 v6 and then convinced my dad to let me drop in a 355 rocket motor into it. Then I lost my license. It was the baddest car at my high school

My first car was a 1988 Oldsmobile Toranado. It was comfy as hell and being the nerd that I am, I thought it was cool to have the hidden headlights.

1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z Turbo II

I really thought it was about the fastest car in the world at that time. Now my 44mpg DD will outrun it.

Mine was a car that had one of the worst reliability records ever. A 1991 Hyundai Sonata which cost me $500 back in 1999 the price was so low because there were some issues like paint, motor, interior, radio, steering, tires, etc. etc. etc. I was a teen at the time and my grandparents didn't have any credit to their name since they were immigrants and basically lived off the land. I had a mediocre job at McDonald's and was going to school. I saw it as an oppurtunity finally have a car so I hastingly jumped on it. After a couple weeks with my uncle helping we changed several gaskets that were just plain rotted and dry could not hold in oil to save their life. An all new exhaust system, stereo system, and paint job since my uncle painted cars for a living. Even after all that the motor still smoked pretty bad but hey I had a car and that's all that mattered to me since I was the one who did almost 90% of the work that was put into it. I was proud of myself and enjoyed my car now it is lost somewhere in New Mexico when I borrowed it to my aunt and she messed up the transmission.

My first ride was an 83 s10 blazer 4x4 that was passed down from my grandfather. He lived near the beach so by the time I got it the rear hatch glass had rusted out and the truck backfired everytime you rev'd the motor. I miss it though.
