My first car was a 1970 monte carlo, automatic airplane shifter between the bucket seats. Carb'd 350ci, loved that car, but the rust and rot was too much. Next year after my 66 gto goes to body and paint if I can find one I'll be buying another monte, throwing a crate 350 in there and driving her daily on and off with my 2000 blazr2. Man I miss that car.

My first car 96 blazer I really wanted a Bronco but couldn't find any that weren't rotted out and I wanted a truck but didn't want my hunting gear to get stolen so I got a blazer and I love it. I T-bar cranked and put 3" shackles in the back.

My first was 'Old Brown' , a 1987 Pontiac Sunbird 4dr gold and rust. Bought and sold it twice both for $300. Kinda peppy 2.0 without a gov and the spedo only went to 120km, plus the steering was loose so it felt a lot faster lol. Block around one spark plug melted out and finally killed it, but it was a good car for couple years.
looked like this but in way worse shape

edit: I forgot the best part, 2 speed wipers! lol

Mine was a 1963 (it was 1972 and I was 16 y/o) 4-door, Pontiac Catalina. A big, mint-green-colored boat. Funny story. One night, friends and I were out cruising. My very small seaside town had a roadway with water on each side. Midway across it was a mini "bridge" with a floating section beneath which raised/lowered with the tide. There was a little bump when you came to this section and as I drove over it the car came to a tire-screeching halt. They all were asking "What did you do?" The answer was "Nothing!" I'd try to go forward, get a few feet, and it would stop again. It would not happen in Reverse. So (naturally) I drove the mile or so that way to get home while nearly over-heating. Don't recall encountering another car the whole way. Next day, my older brother could see that the e-brake cable was locking up so he disconnected it. I drove it a bit and found it to be pointing sideways while going straight. Turns out the rusty frame had broken just ahead of the rear wheel, causing the wheel to shift rearwards causing the e-brake cable to tighten and engaging the brake. Young and stupid, I later drove it to the local junkyard (10 miles away) in this condition and despite pointing out the smooth-running V-8, and all the other features that worked fine (and, um, not mentioning the slight frame/e-brake issue of course) received $50 for it.
