01 Blazer 4x4 lowering with rims

Hey guys so i checked search and theres lots of info but i have a specific question here...

okay so i have a 2001 2dr 4x4 blazer and im going to be putting some 22inch 8x5 rims with a 245/30 profile tire
my question is will the belltech 3inch front and rear be fine on my blazer with these rims?>
What would my options be with those rims....
Also where can i find drop shocks for a 4x4?

Thanks in advance for the help :)

As long as you get the correct back spacing you should be ok. The 22's are a little shorter than the stock tires.

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
235/75-15 6.9in 14.4in 28.9in 90.7in 698 0.0%
245/30-22 2.9in 13.9in 27.8in 87.3in 726 -3.8%

Watch out for potholes as you will only have ~3" of sidewall to cushion your rims.

Good luck finding drop shocks for a 4x4. It's fairly uncommon to drop a 4x4 just because of the amount of work involved in doing a drop (hence why you're not finding a lot of info on the forum about it). They're out there, but they're not nearly as easy to find. How low are you expecting to go?

Just 3 inches..So i was going to go with the blocks in the rear and then keys in the front but i was told not to waste money on keys in the front and just back out the torsion bolts??
i just wanted to make sure 3 inch drop will work with these rims

If you are going with blocks on the back you won't need drop shocks. Maybe check out a Sy/Ty forum and see what shocks they are running when they drop their vehicles.

I wouldnt waste money on tbar keys either. They're not needed.

Belltech also makes a drop shock for the 4x4. Stylin trucks sells them. $47 each.

you can re index the torsion bar in the control arm to lower it with stock keys
