Default drop it

I have two questions, first I dropped my rear 2 inches, and I want to drop my front an inch to level it, could I cut the coil springs? Second does anyone know if 04 extremes have torsion bars?

dont cut your springs....... cut springs = crappy ride. . . . no they shouldnt have torsion bars... thats the 4x4 suspension... it should be coils...

I was sitting here reading a JC Whitney catalog and found something you might be interested in.... If you don't want to buy new springs, for around $22 a company called Hellwig makes these spring compressors... http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/S...searchbtn.y=15

That would be a real crappy ride too. Get springs or spindles. Spindles would be your best bet it you want 2". They won't affect your ride quality at all. Don't forget to align it after.

correct me if Im wrong but if I buy 2 inch drop coils, then I will get a 1/2 inch drop being that the extreme blazers sit 1.5 inches lower than a stock one right

You should get a 2" drop compared to what you have now. Do not compare the drop to a stock Blazer if you already have an Xtreme.

I think they're sayinga 2 inch drop coil made for an extreme will give you 2 inches of drop...
