I wanna lower my 97 blazer without kit
 
Hi my name is josh and i wanna lower my 97 blazer without a kit i know there is a way to do it but i am not sure of it so if anyone could let me know it is a 4 dr 4x4

Yeah its called heat your front springs with a torch till they are red and they will sag down and remove a leaf or 2 from your rear spring bundles... Its the absolute worst way to do it, so save your money and buy a kit for it and do it properly.

he has torsion bars so the heat thing is out

you can lower the front for free in a 4x4

you can turnt he adjuster bolt down and if that isnt enough you can take the lower control arm off and re index the torsion bar

Yep, turn the bolts left till the torsion key rests on the adjuster block. Then bounce the front end around or go for a quick drive and if one side is lower, raise that side abit. Throw some matching size blocks, (however much you got out of the front end, normally between 2-3 inch) and thats about it.

Then take it for an alignment if you fell it pulling and keep an eye on your tires and thier angles to see if your camber is out enough to need an alignment. Front=free, blocks are like $20-30 at Advance auto, and if alignment is needed (recomended) thats about $60. So under $100 for a 2-3 inch drop.
