Lowering a 4X4 Blazer??

I have a 96' 4d 4X4 Blazer and want to lower it roughly 2 or 3 inches and i want to know if this will damage anything or if it is even possible. I wouldnt think anything bad would happen but if you think of 4wd you think of lifting it, not lowering it. Please let me know, THANKS!

yep this is easily achievable. for the front you can crank the torsion bars down I think about two inches and for the rear all you would need was a set of lowering blocks, and I believe they make both 2 and 3 inch blocks
