NEW 11/21/08-So is it SAFE or UNSAFE to lower a 95-04 s10 bazer 4X4???
 

So does anyone know if its safe lowering the 4x4s using the torsion bars?? Some guy at leschwab told me it was 'pretty unsafe'. Im talking about using it as a daily car too. Does anyone know where I can take it to lower it or is it pretty easy?? Please email if you want.. brownboy253@hotmail.comI have a 96 4x4 I want to lower and the stock suspesion sucks. Wow, nice looking Blazer you have there.
I wish I had some advicxe for you but since I'm new at this Blazer thing I can't help you with your question but I did have a comment, your Blazer would look sweet lowered and if you get an answer I'd be interested in hearing it also.
I have a red 97 Blazer that looks a lot like yours and I'd also like too lower it and maybe put some air bags in the suspension.

Thanks alot I'll post pics when I get it lowered. I just got the 3/3 lowering kit from stylintrucks.com (torsion bars and blocks) cost me about 200 with shipping.Igot 4 nitro drop shocks for 37 each at jegs.com (each is 10 bucks cheaper at jegs than most places). Total for the kitwasabout 350, not bad.Iheard its completly safe and the ride is better than stock. Im just waiting for my smaller front tires n then ima drop it.

it is safe but it will cause front end wear quicker
