    sry haven't been on in awhile b/c not sur on how to nav. through this site and no one has told me how to post a thread, thx on the tb fin info. i'm just going to ride it till it blows and then put a 442 in it, but first i need to fix up the ride it suks.

    The TB fin *short for throttle body fin* is on the backside of the throttle plate. this can be removed to give a little extra perk to response, however some say it doesnt do diddly and to just leave it alone.

    I have done it to both my 97 and my 98(sold) and it helps in throttle response for sure, IMHO... over on s10forum its pretty common
