i didn't do a cold air or anything like that, it was just a replacement air filter from K&N. i have noticed a little boost in mpg but only like .5 miles to the gallon. i needed a new one anyways so i figured spend the extra $30 and get lifetime warranty type deal. i'll be driving my truck for another 100k miles so why not
