Conversation Between bigkhans and spud-truck

I have the bearings and pistons and rings to rebuild the 4.3 depending on the year. I used to own RPM Engine Supply so I built lots of them. Gimme a holler if I can be assistance.

A friend of mine (Kevin) is about to purchase a s10 truck for $200.00 this next week, I suspect that it has possibly spun a bearing, not sure though. Now he does have an add in craiglsist but no offers. He is willing to trade or sell a modified 351 Windsor for a good running 4.3. Any way that you could help would be appreciated. Sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. I'm totally with you however I need to make an oil change first. Just got my engine back together don't want to push to hard just yet. Anyhow when we do this we could possible get my buddy Ben to go with us. Perhaps within the next two weeks. Damn shame I cant get my other friends to join the forum though.
