recently my leaf springs have started squeaking very badly so we covered them in oil to quiet them down, the squeak is gone for now, but now in the rear end I am getting a thumping noise when I go over any size of bump, the sound is similar to a flat or low time caught in a pot hole, however I have checked out my tire, swapped it out for the spare and test driven it with no improvement
thought it might be the shocks(I know I have put them through hell hauling a lot of stuff this last yr) but when we jump on the back of the truck or rock it side to side we don't hear anything, but as soon as you drive up the drive way and transition to the road you hear it
