My grill is the unpainted grayish black mesh. I just painted it with metallic black rust-olum that I had around the house. I'm going to get a roll of burgundy pin striping to outline it (my truck is burgundy) It will end up like an SS emblem. I was wondering about a paint for the turns but haven't wanted to see it done first. Yours look great, how does it effect the brightness of the lights? I might switch to LED lights so that might off set it anyway. Thanks for all the info it is much appreciated.

Thanks man. It was actually a really simple process. For the grille I just sanded it down with wet dry sandpaper and taped off anything I didn't want painted tan. Picked up a can of spray paint from O'Reillys (be sure to use the manual there to match the color code). For the bowtie I also just taped it off and used regular ole' black spray paint. The turn signals and tailights I used nightshades spray (found it at Advance auto). Just clean the lights off (DO NOT SAND THEM) and spray a coat. If you want it darker wait a few minutes and spray another.
