I am having a lot of difficulty removing the rusted lock ring on my 1998 18 gal plastic gas tank to replace my dead fuel pump. and now I can't figure out how to put up a post for possible help....help pleeeeassseee!!! It has four tabs that stick up with slots that they obviously tap into but this thing wont budge. Does anyone know if I cut this can i replace it without buying a new tank. every lock ring i research online looks nothing like mine. 1998 4wd 4dr 4.3l
