once its down remove the two screws that hold the panel on at the top and the panel should come free. Now there is four ten milimeter bolts that hold a piece covering the latch that secures your window. You need to take this piece off to get to the two bolts that hold the latch to the tailgate. Now close the tailgate get inside and close the window till it latches you will need to push the latch till you hear the click and then tighten the two bolts that hold the latch to the tailgate. This should readjust the latch so it should work proper for you and your window should lock now. If you have any questions ask me. If there is a problem with the key and black handle it costs like 15.00 with new keys and all... Good luck -

Bro the window problem is not too hard as well I just fixed mine you need to get the tailgate down to get acess to all the screws that hold the inside panel to it. There is like one on each side at the top of the tailgate and like 8 on the very bottom of the panel holding the panel to the tailgate there is also a strip of trim at the edge of the bed that you will need to remove to get to those 8 screws holding the panel to the tailgate.
Once you get access to the tailgate there are two openings on each side of the tail gate you need to monkey around with them till you figure where the tailgate release tab are and pushing both of them the tail gate will come down. -
04-01-2011 07:50 PM - permalinkThanks Bro I just finished work. There should be a bushing on both sides about the middle underneath thats were I found my problem. It should be an easy fix and one less problem for you to worry about. On the poly bushing I heard they were pretty good but a little stiff it really depends how what you think and how you want your ride to feel. I got to rest a little I have been up since 5am and went to sleep like at 130 or so.
I am hoping to go fourwheeling tomorow. Take care !! -
