$400 bucket

Hello, picked up a 96 S10 blazer 2dr, 4wd 4.3 auto. This is my first Blazer in fact this is my first non car. I am allowed to have 3 cars here so I have my IROC, Odyssey, and usually a cheap bimmer that I fix up and drive for a while until something else comes along. This worked well, but this time a guy offered me this blazer for $400 bucks so I bought it needs some work, but it did drive kind of ( I have a thread in the general tech if you're interested to know how it is now). I now know why I usually stuck with bmw's...parts, parts are so much easier to come by over here, not so much with this truck. I'm hoping to get it running again soon before I decide to part it up...

welcome. its the total opposite over here. anything audi, bmw, mercedes, etc is a pain in the butt finding parts for, and if you do very expensive, s10s are probably the most popular thing over here, you can go on craigslist or any junkyard and find anything you need and then some

Except near San Diego, CA. Back in PA it was easy, not so much here.... everyone down here drives the nice cars, no real need for 4WD trucks :/

But nice pic OP hope it isnt too bad to fix up for you!

Sorry to confuse, I work for the US army, as a civilian now, and because of the problem of people leaving and abandoning cars we're limited to 3 cars. I can have as many as I want on the German system, but I'll have to pay German taxes on them.

Thanks everyone for the greetings, I'm looking foward to learning and contributing about these trucks.

Welcome, fellow Bimmer buddy. I have an E36 as my other ride.
