I recently purchased my 96 Blazer from a friend who was leaving the country just because it was in good shape with low milage. I had no idea that I'd obtained a 4WD classic. There were a few issues due to age rather than milage which led to a refurbishing. 4WD had been a mystery until I gutted the vehicle leaving only the rear differential and A-frames. At 75K it has a fantastic frame with virtually no rust, despite been in New York. I have friends who live on dirt roads and I look forward to visiting so I can exercise the 4WD Hi & Low.
