Hi everybody,

Just bought a Chevy Blazer S10 Sport with the 2.8 V6 fuel injected engine with 33k miles on it. Now I am looking for a forum where I can find some knowledge and advice. I hope this is the right place because over here not to many people know a lot about these. Anyway I already ordered a Haynes manual to start with.

I got some pictures, need some cleaning and polishing and some maintenance because it wasn't used that much at all. I hope to lift it some inches, convert it to LPG because that's a lot cheaper here. And then I want to put some miles on it.

Is there a reason your uncle has chosen the only town that has a nude beach at the Belgian coast ? :icon_angel:

Nothing is a far in Belgium. You drive from one side of the country to the other one in 3 hours.

I did polish the hood this afternoon, not the best quality picture, but the hood was the same as the roof .

Oh thats funny man!! I did not know that!! Haha, I guess I should visit?? That Blazer looks really clean, it would have been eaten by road salt here in iowa by now. I have an 89 S10 Extended cab like that, I love it, they are strong trucks, you're in the right place here, lots of info on the forum. Have fun with your new ride!

Nice truck you have !

About the salt, I did notice there isn't much of an undercoating on the chevrolet's body and chassis compared to european cars I have here from more or less the same era. I already did the underside and chassis with black primer with corrosion inhibitor, going to spray some bitumen based undercoating that stays elastic on top of that soon. And afterwards I am going to wax the hollow spaces in the body. That should preserve it for a while.

Welcome from Alberta. It's always fun to have Europeans on here. I spent 4 months in Brussels about 12 years ago. I never made it to Antwerp, although I really wanted to.
