Hi guys.

I own a 1999 Blazer LS Automatic Transmission 4.3L V6. This is the first Blazer I own, but the third in my family.

This truck (and most of the ones we see in our streets) was made in Venezuela where gas prices have never been an issue, but here in Colombia gas prices are another story. Therefore, many owner install Natural Gas tanks in the trunk.

Mine is one of the few which are still running on Gas (Gasoline).

What are my next steps?

Welcome from Alberta. Your next steps are to just jump into the community. If you have any stories or pictures to share that's great. We all love pictures and stories. If you're having any problems with the Blazer you can ask questions in the appropriate sections and we'll do our best to help. This is a really laid back and helpful community so I hope you enjoy yourself here.

Once again, welcome!

Were the Venezuelan Blazers assembled from American CKD kits, right? CNG is also a popular option here in Brazil, not just for the V6 Blazers but also for the 4-cyl ones which I presume were not available there in Colombia. There are many Brazilian Blazers fitted with underbody CNG tanks mounted in the original location of the spare tyre instead of getting them in the trunk, including some used by the police, however it has a downside as it usually requires the removal of the rear stabilizer bar.
