Default Hello everyone

I’ve been lurking and reading for a while. I’m rebuilding a 1985 K5 with a 305.
This is what I started with. It was close to junkyard bound but it didn’t have any cancer rust. The streering gear box was leaking, the front axle was loose and I could only get 45 mph out of her.

I’ve been restoring since September. Everything but the drivetrain is new underneath. I’m still working out the gremlins

I’m building it for the wife to take hiking in the NC mountains that require a 4x4 to gain access. I’ve payed to have new duels and to get the carb adjusted. The rest is all me and my son slave labor. Now my daughter wants me to build her a 80’s Camero for her big 16.
