Hello from MO!
Hi all. Am the proud owner of an '01 Blazer 4dr 4X4. Inherited it from Mom when she passed last Aug. 2011. I found it for her in July 09 to replace a 91 Caprice wagon. She got T-Boned on the right side, hard enough to push the "B" pillar and both doors up against both front and rear seats. Mom came out with only a broken wrist and few bruises. Gave $6k for this little truck, 94K miles, silver with gray interior. All the options but power seats, but love the sunroof. Found Mom a good, solid ride she could haul stuff in like her old wagon (and 77 Suburban before that, and 69 Kingswood before that, the car I learned to drive in and wrench on.) She wanted a mini van. I wasn't about to have to work on a mini van, no thanks. Drove too many for service trucks. Working on vans in general, and mini vans in particular, sucks! 2nd Blazer for me, first was a 91 2dr 4X4, bought @ 65K miles, died at 245K! That little beast went like hell and begged for more! Never owned anything not GM. Don't bleed red, bleed Chevy engine block orange! Project car is an 81 Buick Regal, will be 383/400 powered with a bottle in the trunk. I wanna eat Grand Nationals and sh*t Mustangs! Hemi Challengers? Afternoon snacktime!:icon_bike:
