Hello from NC

Just wanted to introduce myself. Name's Adam and I'm from NC. I'm currently working on a 1993 S10 Chevrolet Blazer 2WD that can also do 4WD. If I can get this going, I can have it for free by paying for only the parts and doing my own work.

This S10 has been sitting for about a year, so I've been getting it back into shape and ready to go again.

So far I've replaced -

Spark plugs (two were PITAs)
Spark plug wires
Battery
Drive belt
Alternator
Both Headlights
Missing Fuses
Fuel Pump and Strainer
Fresh Oil
Oil Filter
Fresh Coolant

Waiting to go on -

New Starter
New Fuel Filter

It needs a new starter since the old one is completely dead and rusted. I have a new Fuel Filter but the old one is refusing to come off since one nut holding it is stripped, so I'll probably have to take it to a shop to get that replaced.

There's just a couple of little stuff that needs fixing like resetting the odometer (stuck at 99999), the passenger side window motor, and the dash light switches. Nothing major. The timing belt was done about a year before it just sat, so around two years ago. It was not used as a daily driver, just an extra car. This will be my daily driver once I get it going again.

Hey, nice to see someone else from NC! Maybe you've already guessed my username is from the Duke Blue Devils basketball team.

Plans -

3 inch lift
Bigger wheels and tires
Brush guard
New grill
KC or Hella lights
Intake and exhaust

Also one thing I noticed about the headlights is they're just completely replaceable plug-ins, which I haven't seen before. Is there any way to install HIDs on the 1st gen?

This is my other car, a 1991 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 Naturally Aspirated... plans for a Twin Turbo engine swap in the future. It's mostly had suspension and a few engine mods done to it. -
