Hi from Germany

Hi there,

my name is Thomas and I bought a 95 Blazer some months ago. I'vew got so many questions nobody is able to answere over here in Germany but I thought I should introduce myself first.:icon_mrgreen:

I guess you could say I'm a car guy. I currently own a 1980 Mazda RX7 which was built for race tracks in 1982 and has about 270bhp because they put a carbureted BAE turbo system in the engine bay back then. My second car standing in my garage is a 1991 Mazda MX5 NA. I'm currently working on its engine and preparing it for individual throttle bodies.

And that's why i needed the Blazer. The two Mazdas aren't exactly the cars you should drive everyday. The RX is trying to kill me in every corner and the MX is missing too many engine parts to be a daily driver.:icon_crackup:

Oh and I'm working as a high voltage technician (like 220000-380000 volts).

Some pictures of my cars:

Nice Pics :-)
I have a soft spot for the early MX1's - remind me of Lotus Elans.

What kind of bumper/brush guard is that? If you know what it is anyway, it looks pretty good

Th0m4s 12-11-2015 09:09 AM

It's a kit consisting of a brush guard with additional high beams and fog lights, stainless steel side skirts, 15 inch wheels with 255/60 tires, a stainless trunk sill protector plate and some fake burl wood pieces inside. It was a dealer installed option from 1995 up to 1997 in Germany and cost a fortune. Like 15000 dollars extra... :icon_eek: The parts were produced by a company called Haslbeck.

I guess the first owner who was owning some kind of big company just made a check everywhere in the list without reading. My car even has the automatic pneumatic ride height correction in the rear. I never understood what you need that for in such a car.

Wow you must have the most tricked out stock Blazer I've seen. Haha

Very nice (Y) Do you have any plans for it?

Gruss Marc

Interessant.

Gruss Mark
