Well my fears about the 4L60E have been put to rest. After reading several threads about the auto trans, it seems the most common failure of these 4L60E's is from not being maintananed. I talked with the owner again. And he has had the trans regularly serviced, plus he put a deeper fined pan on it. So now all I have to do is get him to come up with a price. Looks like it might be a dark red Blazer Extreme for me.
