Just bought 04 ZR2 with 196,000 miles

first think i would check is if the intake manifold gaskets have been changed out. they are a birth defect that can be done for 100.00 if you are mechanically inclined. those are a big headache around here. look for coolant on top the engine between valve covers and intake manifold.

other then that, we all go thru fuel pumps, hub bearings and tranny solenoids.
thats all i can think of.

Make sure you push all the 4wd push buttons and see that it's engaging.

196K miles?? on an '04? seems pretty high to me.. that's about 313K kilometers.. I bought a '99 with 252K k's on it and that was high...
