Long time lurker, first time poster

Hi everybody. I joined a few years ago, but I've never posted.

I'm currently working on a 2000 S-10 4-door Blazer build. Been hacking away at it for the last 6 months or so, and it's finally getting close to actually running, though I still have a ton of work to do before it's really trail ready.

So I'll be doing a bunch of reading, maybe asking a few questions, and looking forward to getting to know some people while I work toward getting this thing out of my garage. :icon_banana:

A little teaser:

Welcome to being an active poster.

Hmmmm, if you don't mind the critique, don't ya think your tires look just a tad small. :icon_wink:

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. And I'll see about getting some decent-sized tires, Christine. :icon_goofygrin:

The engine is the stock 4.3, but it has an SM465 4-speed with a NP205 transfer case. The front axle is a Dana 60 with crossover high steer, hydro assist, a Yukon Grizzly locker, Yukon 35-spline chrome-moly shafts, and Yukon Hardcore hubs. The rear is a 14-bolt semi-floater with AlloyUSA axle shafts, a Detroit locker, 4.88 gears, and a custom disk brake setup.

It's primarily going to be a rock crawler, like the K5 that gave up all its organs so that this one could live, so I'm not too worried about horsepower. You don't need much to go 1MPH. :D

right on,, thats a pretty sick driveline, should be bomb proof with that 4.3 behind it. I like the front bumper and winch good stuff.

Thanks! Here are a couple more pictures. Like I said, I still have a ton of work to do, but I'm hoping to have it on the trail by this summer.
