At 1 point o had my zr2 and an 88 GMC Jimmy 2dr. The Jimmy turned out to be Swiss Cheesed but I sold it to a good friend who's gonna drop a racing drive train for drags.

Pretty exciting idea, putting 33s on. Too bad they don't make the lift for it anymore. Good luck, excited to hear what you end up doing to the zr2

I've already posted this pic in other threads, but here's the current look... tires and RC lift all installed.

I think plenty of fun can be had with the stock 31's especially by going with the M/T style tire. I may change my mind after going to Moab this year but my 2001 ZR2 did just find going from the Oregon Coast to Elko NV. without using the interstate. We went on fire roads, BLM trails and some 4X4 trails including crossing at Cutcher Crossing in Idaho on Owyhee River.

Your Rig is looking sharp.

That is looking good. I didn't think the RC lift worked with the zr2. Also are those the stock rims? Do they rub at all? That's a thing of beauty!

Yes, stock rims... there was a bit of rubbing at full lock, but all I had to do was push back the rear of the inner fender with a hammer. Just enough to bend the metal back and get it out of the way. Thanks for the compliment.

Dang nice advantage of those zr2’s is the fender flairs. One thing I would need before any attempt to go up and out. PIcky as -hit around here locally about protruding rubber past the body. Looking good

With a little modification, or buying prefaced ones from jungle flare, you can have them on your 4 door too.
