steblo, that's exactly what Ima gonna do! $750 to have the whole shabang replaced is too much for now.

Thought I'd get her out of the shop today, but they're doing an alignment, so tomorrow I'll get her back.
Then the order of bizness is: fill tank (what size IS the tank anyway?), car wash - super supreme style, inside & out (it's a little smelly inside), then maybe go to the paint shop and get some quotes on full paint w/logos or maybe just logos.
Then maybe this weekend we'll fix the little things like bulbs that are out, wiper blades etc

Ah wellll, did the brakes & the idler arm. Mechanic took it for a test drive and the fuel pump seized!

So I guess the truck wanted a new gas tank and all.

I'm feeling a little queasy, $1900 for my first repair bill. Argh.

I drive home, get ready for work, hop in it, guess what? The "Service Engine Soon" lite come on! Jeez. Feeling more queasy.

AH thats a rough start........why the whole new tank?....Ive replaced the fuel pump and sender, thats a pretty common problem with the blazers....1900 seems a bit steep for that though............hopefully service engine soon light is just a simple code and nothing to bad.

$1900 was for ALL the stuff done.

Tank, sender & pump came as a set.

We shall see.

Hubby is looking for a way to decode the computer codes sent out. Any suggestions? (he's a computer geek, so no worries)
What mite that be called?
