New guy with a 77 blazer
I bought this last night. Its a 77. I'm going to use it for a daily driver and will be towing a boat with it. not a big boat. A little off roading, mostly towing the boat. I'm thinking about keeping the paint original. It has a 350 with a 4 speed manual with a granny. I'm willing to put some money into it and looking for a process along with products names. I'll probably refresh the interior myself. So I'll be looking for those product, carpet kits, upholstery ideas, etc. I don't think the dash is cracked, but it may need to be replaced. What about the running gear.
1. Front end 2. rear end 3. suspension etc. 4. Brakes 5. Engine compartment 6. Engine 7. has air conditoner, no compressor 8. best way to bring the paint to life 9. What is the best way to clean up the frame and the underside without removing the body Does anybody have a spreadsheet they use to refresh these things. Or maybe a book I can buy. Welcome to the forum. Nice Blazer!

Am I in the wrong place to ask technical questions?

Your best responses will be in "General Tech/Full size K5" or specific forums like Engine/Transmission if applicable. Lots of us are knowledgeable and can work on them, but not so many have the early Blazers and actually monitor the K5 forum on regular basis. Nice Blazer!! PM me if you can't get a response to a question.
