New, looking at blazers
 

I've always liked blazers. I'm looking at one online at https://www.worldwidevintageautos.co...vrolet-blazer#

Nice looking rig. I don't know much about prices and of course I haven't been able to look at the rig up close. What's the best way to ensure I'm getting a good vehicle and I'm not paying too much.

I don't need something as nice as this one, but they seem hard to find.

Start looking at ads and compare the prices. Read into the vehicle and get somewhat knowledgeable about what year model had what engine and transmission options.

When looking at the rig go for rust as this is a killer for the budget. Also any inconsistencies with bad repairs and such. Swapped engines and transmissions which do not properly line-up. This is what we see in these old cars.

Cars before 1980 are ever more hard to find. Either they have proprietors which keep them up or they have rusted away ever since. Take also into consideration that on top of they ask prices you may have repairs/restorations to make to get it up and running. And depending on engine option they are not running many mpg's.
