Found this site while looking for a solution for my tailgate glass problem with my '96 4 door AWD. The solenoid was working but to no effect. To make matters worse, the back of the vehicle was loaded full of ice fishing gear that could only be extracted through the tailgate. Ten minutes after finding this site I had the solution and 20 min later I had the faulty part in my hands. It was tricky crawling over the cargo but better than smashing the window, a thought that had crossed my mind. Thank you for all the help. This is a great site.
