New from va and need Ideas.

Hey, My name is Gaston and Im from VA, I know vary little about working on cars but Im tryin to fix up my 89 S10 Blazer. Its a 4X4 with the 4.3, I have done some interior work and a little exterior. Things I have done include, New Seats front and rear and new carpet also a new head liner and over head console from a 90s model and made a computer mount. outside the truck I have put a grill from a 90s model and just put a brush guard on it. I have also orderd a roof basket rack. I want to rhino line the body but other than that Im lost as to what else to do. If you have any ideas please let me know (Im going for the off road look) Thanks.
I will post pics later.

Does your truck have a limited slip/posi rear? If not how about a locker in the rear. It is on my list once I have some extra $. Does your truck have skid plates? Maybe look into that also.

I think it is limited slip in the rear but I will look into that. As far as skid plates well thay have all gone missing over the years that my dad has owned it with the diffrent things he has replaced on it so I will look into getting some new skid plates for it. Thanks for the idea on that. I wanted to ask though if you know what all has to be extended for a 3" body lift on this truck or if you could point me to a post that covers this in detail. Thanks again for all your help.

welcome to the show, from Ontario.

for a noob working on vehicles, you sure did tackle quite a few projects already.

as for what else you can do to your ride.........take a look through each section that catches your interest (like the Mechanical & Maintenance section for starters).
