Ohio new guy
 

Howdy all. Recently bought a K5 and wanted to get in some forums. Had it shipped from Denver to central Ohio, Blazers are few and far between around here (in decent shape and not a bazillion bucks). It's harder to start than an old man on a cold morning, and I know about those, I think the carb being setup for the thin air in Mile High is primary culprit, plan is to add Sniper EFI over Christmas break. It's gutted at the moment, getting new carpet, seat upholstery, gauges, dash pad, door panels, etc. Was originally a blue interior/exterior truck, at some point it was painted gray but the blue interior was left, I'm changing it to tan, with plans to repaint it Candy Apply Red in the spring. This isn't going to be a trail rig I'm afraid. I'm selling my 69 C10 on air bags to afford building the K5, built this from the ground up (cut it down from a long bed, Sniper EFI, custom interior, Tremec 5 speed, etc etc blah blah. Know my way around trucks, looking forward to being a contributing member around here!
