So Cal Blazer
Hi Guys,
Great forum. Just got the 2000 4WD 4Dr last thurs. Changed out left front hub a couple of days ago and the fuel pump today. Next I will tackle the driver window. Tank drop was not as bad as I thought. Between my son and I we spent about 2 hours total time with the repair. The new pump had a different harness connector and a new pigtail to splice in. All in all not bad. I got the pump at a local Chevy dealer. They didn't cut me much of a deal (25% off). If I had wanted to wait I could of saved about a $100 if I had ordered on Internet. I had requested ACDELCO MU85 (25176789) and they crossed to a MU1733 (19177220). The MU1733 supercedes the MU85. It fits and it works. This forum has helped me a lot. Thanks all. I hope to be able to help as well somewhere down the road. I have also changed out a pump in my 2 previous blazers. |
