94 Blazer Tire Question
 
I have a 1994 S10 Blazer Tahoe LT - I want to know the tire size that will fit and if i put a 5 " Trailmaster Lift how big can i go ?

This has been answered before, use the search button.

You may be able to fit 33's with some trimming, depending on the manufacturer.

i know its been answerd for the newer blazer but not the 94... it has bigger wheel wells then the lets say 98

This was in the August 2009 edition of Four Wheeler magazine. 94-03 S/T trucks with minor fender trimming and 3" lift should fit 32x11.50 and 6" lift should fit 33x12.50. I hope this helps. I knew keeping these old magazines would come in handy.

plus rims, plus gears cause stock gears sure arent gonna run 35's to well.

I'm not done lifting this truck cause I worked 40 hrs. a week and now im going to college and working after college but I have a 5.5" Trailmaster lift lift in the front and I'm still in the process of putting the a 5" Trailmaster lift plus 2" blocks in the back. And I have a 3" body lift in the truck. = About 9" front(tbar crank) and 10" in the back. So you would have to buy the lifts, like you said, about $1,500. Then you'll need to buy gears.

You'll need 4.56 gears front and rear.

Front end...
Yukon 4.56 ring and pinion..260$ plus shipping.

If you don't know how to swap gears its gonna cost ya.. I paid $325 for labor for the front end. And $250 for the rear end. Oh and a hint, when you take the front diff. out when you're lifting it regear it. I didn't wait, I got it done right away. But some guys wanna see if they need gears and they put the lift in just to have to take most of it apart again. Don't do that lol.

You'll probably need new rims like beyondbasic said. I have cregar rims with a smaller backspace. That'll push the tire out so when you turn the wheels they won't hit the frame.
So now the price goes up, about $2,755 with labor plus shipping, plus rims. And tires are gonna be $800-$1,200 for four tires.

So everything is about $4,000.

I'm not tring to talk you out of lifting your truck, heck another jacked up blazer in the trails would be awsome. But just know what your getting yourself into. I was lucky enough to find a parts truck with the TM lift for 100$ I sold most of the parts from that truck and made my money back plus some so basically I got the lift for free! lol I got my body lift for 80$ from Craigslist. Got my Cregars for 100$ from Craigslist. Got my 34" SuperSwampers from a friend for 40$ for all four tires. Most money I spent on the truck was the gears.
Look on Craigslist for the lift kits, tires, rims, etc. before you buy. Try to save as much money as you can. lol

thanks alot this helps, i just gotout of the military last year and my GF just sold me this 94 s10 blazer tahoe lt . with 90K odo .. for 800 dollars now i goto college as well and it will take time to do but im def. going to do this. i love the way they look lifted
