hey if anyone is near fort irwin get back at me, I am lookin for people to go offroading with don't really know a whole lotta places in this God forsaken destert that are legal to play on

 

I'm in 29 Palms which is over the mountain from you. I don't know any areas there but there are trails all in the Mojave desert. Johnson OHV area off the 247 by Lucerne Valley is an open area with anything from sand trails to rock crawling. Me and the wife go rockhounding every weekend so the trails I take are to get to specific places, not for general frolicking. most of the trails out here are mild to interesting. There's only a couple of places so far that I couldn't go. Too much loose rock and I can't keep traction.
