the Rubicon trail is a couple hours west of you in Tahoe right? lol or maybe a little more than a couple hours. if so a blazer could easily make it up about the first 6ish miles then after that forget it. I did it on a ATV 2 months ago.

I'll have to look into that. Just as soon as I find someone to go with.
