Do coil springs add lift to your truck?:icon_speaker1:

The only way you can use coil springs is if your truck is 2WD and with that they are only used in the front. But to answer your question yes you can get larger/lifting coil springs for the front of your truck. I am pretty sure that there are a few 2WD Blazers here that have them installed.

coil springs

i actualy have a 3'' coil lift on my 2000 chevy blazer 2wd it does lift the front end pritty good. but anything after 2" the upper a arms have to be replaced with different ones because the ball joints could fail because of the extreme angles involved. but all said and done i love the hight of the 3" lift and the firmness of the ride but it causes other problems. because the coils are so strong the upper a arm is rests on the frame so on the rebound from bumps u can hear a very uncomforting metal on metal clank. so i have no problem with coil lift just get 2" or a max of 2.5" lift coils and this will solve the problem. And to whoever plans on doing a coil lift just get it done by a mechanic i did it myself and its really a pain not to mention messing with compressed coil springs has many dangers involved.
