I went and did my first real trail the other day called the "hang glider" that takes you way up the mountain. It is not a stock freindly trail just because one part is abit tricky but the blazer pulled threw pretty good!

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing. Have you tried disconnecting your front sway bar when you're wheeling?

robsteez 11-07-2013 03:12 PM

I have never disconnected my front swaybar but I keep my rear disconnected all the time. I wonder how much better disconnecting the front will be because without the rear it's a huge improvement.

It helps a ton with keeping the rear tires on the ground in off-axis areas.

ok cool thanks, I am gonna disconnect the front next time I go. what's it like driving on the roads/highway with the front disconnected?

What lift do you have? It looks great! 3"?

I'd suggest just disconnecting it when you get to the offroad area. It's just 2 bolts to disconnect it, and you'll need to create an anchor to attach the sway bar when you rotate it up out of the way.

Driving on the road with the front sway bar disconnected will greatly increase body roll in corners, especially with your truck lifted like it is. If you tend to be more on the granny driving side of the scale you might not mind it at all. If you are more on the drive fast and corner faster side of things then you definitely do not want to drive on the highway or around town with the front sway bar disconnected.
